Are You Scared To Pump
Yep, Im scared to pump. The gas crunch has put a serious damper on my Summer Fun. I don't want to make more than one trip out of the house at a time. I am conserving my gas like its gold. Everyone is talking about the crunch and crying out there whoas of how it is hurting all American pockets, but nobody is taking this hike into consideration when they are handing out Annual Increases in Salaries. Gas can go up 25% but my poor little insignifigant increase will remain at 3%. My single friend went to her DHS appt and they eliminated all of her aid because a father started paying support. DHS hasn't taken into consideration of the fact that Gas as well as Meat and food have hiked their increases. Where will this end? Are we headed for a Great Depression? I want to buy a new car, but can I, nope. Im too busy putting gas in the jalape to save for one. Do I eat out anymore, nope, because I can't afford it. Im not going to be able to take the kids anywhere this Summer and Im considering getting a second job. Hell I even saw on the news the other night where folks are giving plasma for $30 a pop to cover the gas costs. Now the people they interviewed were the most indigent looking ones they could find because tha is what the news is good for in the South, finding the most country or sad looking person out of the group and shoving them on the TV for the world to misrepresent the South by. We are not all rednecks running around barefoot and pregnant. Back to the gripe at hand though. I don't know about the rest but I want to picket or campaign against these terrifyingly high prices we are all forced to pay nowadays to travel in a world where traveling is a requirement for living.
