Updates for 2012

With Facebook becoming ever popular, I have truly neglected this blog.  Tony Hall is graduating this year on May 31st.  These are times when I realize that I really do not have that much family outside of TN and that the family I do have, we aren't connected. More than a few reasons why, some petty, some legit but it is simply sad.

Drew has been married a year this month.  He is working in PA.  Big Southern boy working up North is a funny thing. 

Jordyn is growing like a weed. 

Tony has decided to go with Tn Tech  for a major in Mech. Eng and minor in Art.  Let's see how many times this changes in a year.  The everchanging major.

Me, well I am working like a dog, feeling like this recession is never going to end and with less dollars to earn prices just keep going up and up.  How does that work?  I am greatful for my health and the health of my kids.  I could complain all day but I see folks out there with unemployed and uninsured and reflect back and say, Life really isn't that bad.

My folks are doing the best they can with what they have.  I wish things would improve financially for them but there just isn't room in this Big Ol Recession for small construction the people on top just getting richer are not willing to lend hands to the working man and improve the situation of our economy.  Too bad those fatcats don't live by the same rules they create.  I would be nice to see them pay taxes, pay for the education of their kids, hell just pay in general and then wouldn't be in such a position to hate their guts for shoving their shit our way and then looking down from the top, hoping they don't have to smell it.

Updates in 2011

Well Drew got married this year. Introducing Courtney Drummond. She and Drew are traveling with his job and currently are in PA living out of a hotel on per-diem. I say if they can make it thru this, they may survive. She is tee tiny, in our land of big girls, you know she feel's even smaller.

Easter 2010

We painted Easter Eggs with true paint this year, it was kind of fun. Saved from all the dye for the most part. Had our Easter Lunch at moms. If you wait till the end you can see all the grandkid together with mom. Patience is a virtue.

Christmas 2009 - Yeah I know its April.

I know its late but like I said I am going backward because of lost time. Christmas at moms. Mom got a lovely ring from dad this year. She was made to play the gift games that we make the boys play to get their gifts. Funny Stuff.

New Car

I got a new car. 2006 Nissan Altima. I love you mom. She helped me get it. My 94 Honda was having serious trouble but it has now been passed down to Tony Hall for repair. He is going to have it all hooked up pretty soon, now he just needs to get driving a stick shift down pat.

Kamwren & Jayda's Birthday Parties

Its birthday season again. Kamwren turned 7 at the Roller Express. The kids had a good time celebrating his birthday. Jayda turned 6 at the Cedar Hill Park. We went directly from one party to the next, I was partied out.

Drew Update

I haven't been on in a while so I am doing a bunch of updates today. I had to laugh at the picture where Drew is trying to be cute with the sun going down. He is doing ok. I sent him a care package this week. Lots of sugar and one 24 pack of soda's. Most expensive soda ever when you think of shipping but it is what he wanted.
